I don't know about you but I am really not a big fan of mothers day. I thought it would get easier now I am a mum but for some reason this year was a challenging one. I think it is the lead up that makes me anxious and brings up all those feelings that I probably suppress most of the year. I am very lucky though to have my own gorgeous family now, my amazing husband and my gorgeous cheeky son. I try and focus on this instead of the fact that I don't have my mother around.
