I love reading articles where strong women tell the world what their mothers taught them as they were growing up. In a recent interview in the Australian Women's Weekly, Crown Princess Mary of Denmark (an Aussie girl at heart) said her "Mum definitely taught me to be independent and to trust myself, and believe in myself and do whatever you set your mind to do.
